Please note that because all of our items are created fresh according to your order, we cannot cancel orders for jumbo and petite caramel chocolate apples, handmade truffles, chocolates, cakes, cookies and confections or other specially prepared food items, which have been ordered through our online website or orders placed via telephone after one (1) hour on the day your order was placed or after your order has been started, whichever comes first.

We want all our customers to be satisfied with every order and every product purchased from us; however, if it ever happens that you are not pleased with any item you have purchased from us, please contact us immediately.

Due to the perishable nature of our products, however, The Voluptuous Apple does not accept returns, exchanges or refunds on food, personalized items or on special order merchandise.  We reserve the right to replace items that we determined to be defective or for any errors made on our part in shipping.

In our effort to comply with FDA regulations on Bio-terrorism, we cannot accept returns on any food product.  These regulations are designed to ensure a clear, traceable path on all food items from producer to consumer.  We thank you for your understanding and we regret any inconvenience this may entail.

Please note that all items are inspected before shipping and leave our facility in perfect shape.  If you receive a product that has been damaged during transit, please contact our office by calling (703)729-8921 within 24 hours of receipt for instructions on filing a damage claim with the shipping carrier.  You MUST KEEP ALL PACKAGING, INSIDE AND OUT as well as the ENTIRE CONTENTS for UPS inspection.  All claims MUST be reported with 24 hours of receipt.

All of our gourmet caramel chocolate apples, candies and confections are made fresh to order each day. To ensure that your gourmet gift is as fresh as possible, we prefer to use UPS for all of ur deliveries. However, if you prefer, we can also use 1-3 day Prioritay Mail.

Orders received by 10:00 am PST will leave our company the following business day. We are currently shipping Monday through Wednesday. Since we want to avoid having packages in transit over a weekend, a 3-day delivery would have to leave our company no later than Tuesday on Business deliveries, or on wednesday on Residential deliveries. Please consider the 1-3 day delivery time when placing your order.

As stated above, for an additional charge, we can ship guaranteed overnight or 2nd day air. Call our toll free telephone number for costs on Express mail.

We ship to the 48 Continental States, Alaska and Hawaii. For shipment to remove Alaska and Hawaii locations, an additional charge will apply. We cannot ship our products to post office boxes pr APO/FPO addresses.

We suggest sipping to location where you know somebody will be available to receive the packages(s), for example, the recipient's workplace. If using UPS,they may leave gifts at a destination in which no one is home to accept the package. Place keep in mind that our chocolate products are perishable and should not be exposed to elements for too long, especially warm or freezing weather conditions.

All apples are individually sealed in cellophane bags with satin bows. During the summer months, we package the sealed apples in a layer of bubble wrap and add ice packs. For shipping in certain warm weather regions, we use special catrons and ice packs year round. To cover the cost of the additional packaging, a nominal charge is added to our regular shipping rates.
